Hazrat Moulana Maseehullah Rahimahullah used to say that the word “Mustahab” is derived from the root word “حُبْ”, which means love. Practicing on a Mustahab action brings the love of Allah.
Why would a person leave out a Mustahab action when he knows that it will bring him the love of Allah?
